ABOUT: Dr Egg Adventures is an EdTech (Education Technology) startup that creates problem-based, blended learning solutions across STEM, AI and digital technology.

ROLE: I have worked across a variety of leadership roles including Digital Marketing Lead to Project and Operations Coordinator to Virtual Assistant.

Social Media Management

I managed and worked with a small team to develop social media strategies, write and schedule posts, monitor comments and undertake community engagement on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (Twitter) channels.

Content Creation

I have edited and designed a wide range of content including graphics, lead magnets, product brochures, workbooks, banners, flyers and event collateral using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or Canva.

I have also filmed and edited videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut for YouTube and social media.

Video Editing

The video helped the company secure a Game Resource Partnership with the Macquarie University School of Education to develop the online learning platform, Dr Egg Adventures Laboratory.

It was also featured on Inspiring Australia.

In May 2023, I coordinated a marketing and sales campaign to promote a free webinar aimed at generating interest for the blended learning platform, the Dr Egg Adventures Laboratory. While this webinar was aimed at primary school teachers, it created opportunities for Dr Egg Adventures to explore other avenues for distribution such as homeschooling.

I worked directly with the founder and marketing team to:

  • Set up the event on Eventbrite

  • Write automated email sequences on Eventbrite in lead up to the webinar

  • Manage and monitor enquiries about the webinar

  • Write, design and edit email campaigns on MailChimp aimed at raising awareness about the event with our current database

  • Oversee collateral for social media

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to explore promotional opportunities (For example: I helped develop materials for the 'Academy for Continuing Development in Professional Education' email newsletter)

  • Design a lead generation form using JotForm

  • Following up with warm leads after the event to arrange a product demo

Project Management

My role as Operations, Project and Product Coordinator involved:

  • Implementing systems, overseeing recruitment, managing project scope, timelines, risks, resources, cash flow

    and general administration.

  • Managing and supporting small teams in project and task delivery using Asana, Trello, Slack and Gantt charts.

  • Writing and distributing internal project and creative briefs to external stakeholders.

  • Coordinating the selection and onboarding process for new team members.

  • Developing and designing quantitative and qualitative customer discovery research questionnaires using Jotform and Google Forms to identify new markets.

  • Working with advisory board members to develop, monitor, and review the company's business plan and product positioning.
